It’s Time For Tea
Stop.
It’s time for tea,
Stop.
The busy mind,
Sit.
Pour the hot water,
Scald.
Feel the pain,
Let the flavour free,
From the pours,
Give it time to stew,
To burn,
Until it cools,
Then accept,
The milk,
Transform,
Dark to light,
Add forgiveness,
To sweeten,
Warm now,
Just right,
Scars healed,
Sip,
Sweet,
Contentment,
Anyone for tea?
