Love is not a Commodity

Sometimes we mix our understanding of love with material wealth. It’s understandable as our world seems to appear to function solely on commodities. Using love as a transaction, controlling, crediting when we feel it is deserved and debiting, leaving bankrupt, starving when we are not satisfied with an outcome. Is it love? A love of the mind that can only organise and order, creating walls, blockades, and boundaries within itself. True love is born only of the Heart always flowing abundantly, never subjective, judgemental, condescending, or critical. It takes account of all and comes back smiling like a mother at her mischievous child. She understands it’s immaturity needed for growth and development, ever patient and kind, the custodian of a trust fund for its child’s sovereignty.
